    1986 320i Alpine/blue

I sold my vert on friday, but life without an E30 is meaningless, so I bought a new one on saturday.

Its a 1986 320i, two door, bone stock. Probably the last stock E30 in Norway

After a couple of hours it started to smell like gasoline.

Unfortunately it was at the top of a mountain, we had no tools, it was freezing cold, no signal on the cell phones, and limited visibility.

This time Im going to keep the euro bumpers. Maybe Ill buy a M-Tech I kit for it. First priority is to get it running, and in good working order.

It is rust free (quite rare in Norway)

Wheel bearing is making more noise then the engine
    Brakefluid is leaking
Its leaking oil from engine, transmission and diff
    Needs new bushings all over
    Has drum brakes.

Sorry for the bad pictures, but thats all I have for now. Its currently not running.

What are your plans engine wise? It is my understanding that you are limited by power over there.

Yes, you could say that. 125hp is not a lot. I am concentrating on getting the car in good condition before I start working on the engine.
Being a 86 model, its tempting to build a 333i replica, or maybe source a 745 turbo engine. But I cant justify all the weight and work for so little power. Plus, I cant afford it ;)

Yes, that is correct. Mint euro bumpers. U jelly? :finger:

Im going to put some Borbet As on it for now, but I have a set of 15" Zender sports that needs refinishing. Maybe I should find a Zender body kit to go along.

Zender kit would be awesome with Zender wheels.

Thanks, but you should keep all the euro parts over there where they are hard to find :) Ill probably buy some, but I need to get it running first.

Small update as I took some pics the other day.

I bought Powerflex bushings (not installed yet), gray carpet, a extra dashboard, hubcaps, and some other small bits.

                  I love it.

You buy a car with the most rare and best OE lip made, and it isn't good enough. Fucking Norwegians...
