Schweet, I also saw this on craigslist and wanted it...but couldn't justify another bimmer right now. Car looks good! Everyone in midten seems to be picking up some e30 goodness--must. have. more. meets.

There are a few of us in murfreesboro that hangout regularly. Tneuros is where we usually talk about it.Comment

Sale pending on the black e30 from a local.
I'd be super happy if that happens so i can have my garage back.
And cash for coilovers.
Anybody chime in with JOM coilovers?
Anybody thats not on stock wheels happy with the ride as well as the height in the back?
Probably ordering some from the group buy. That or attempt to build my own.Comment

Depends on what you're looking for. I think that the ride is not harsh at all and completely reasonably for a DD.The first car I ever rode in was an e30

I'm not looking to "slam" it or anything. Just a reasonable drop to eliminate some wheel gap.
I just want to make sure I'm not bottoming out the struts or anything and that I can still daily it and drive my car with people in it without having to avoid every little bump in the road. I'm kind of over that, but the 4x4 status is a little much for me.Comment

Yeah JOMs will be fine for you. I'm on 215/40/16 tires, and the front goes low enough to have to dodge everything and scrape on slight uneven pavement. But you can raise it up a little bit and it's perfectly drivable. The rear has 1 finger of gap on late model fenders, but I'm on tiny tires. The first car I ever rode in was an e30

I've dealt with "cheaper" coil overs before on 2/3 of my cars.
And to be honest much better than the k-sports I had on my 07 GTI.
Rokkor has been great for me on both of my cars.
Hopefully JOM will be too.Comment

Well, I blew a radiator hose today on the interstate.
Hopefully it didn't mess anything else up like the head gasket.
I guess I'll know in a few minutes when I go get a new hose.Comment

Sweet, head gasket blown.
m10 sucks lol.
Hopefully get that all sorted out before the weekend, ordered a gasket set.Comment

Kewl. I need to do a compression test to see if my m10 head/hg is trashed. It's probably over heated three times in its life. I got a feeling something isn't right. Did the set off eBay come with an exhaust gasket too?

Yes I believe there was almost every gasket in there, and it was fairly cheap. I mean for a reputable brand and me ordering in a rush it was only like 70$ shipped and they had good 99.xx% reviews so I just went for it.
I've decided to do everything that I need to do and go ahead and make it fairly dependable for a 28 year old car. Taking the head to get redone, probably polish it as well while it's out just for fun.Comment
