Not sure if it'll be helpful but I've got an 87 325i exhaust out of the car straight pipes to stock 325i muffler (no cat).

Only helpful if you want to see the shape lol, let me know.

Its not the sound im looking for, its the routing of the pipes.
Mine sounds quite ok already, just have to free up some space to ground.
