here i came across a 318is that is 91 and no sunroof and been sitting for about 18 years. a guy bought it and suppose to make it a race car so he start taken the car apart on the inside and cut bunch of wires and took dash out. i just got it last week. put some seats and carpet and door panels. ( headliner was still in it. looks brand new) car have less then 80,000 miles. very minimum rust on inside of hood and trunk and very little on side skirt just from sitting.
i put the stickers on it and cleaned it up pretty good as far as i can do with soap and power wash. going to polish it this week and redo the side skirts on it.
later in the end of the summer i am taken the car apart to bare metal and going to fix all rust and repaint it in and out. full roll cage . 5 lug swap and i am thinking e36 m3 engine.
here i got about 8 e30's now. couple ix. one 325es with 150,000 miles original one owner. i got black 90 i think it is and i put 325 engine in it.
got about 9 e21. 2 of them with 745 turbo. one with m6 drivetrain. one with 735 and one with 635 dog leg trans triple weber carb.. and i got couple 8 series and 85 745 turbo and i donno about 16 e36 and 79 525 and 85 525 and some other cars.. been collecting them for a wile. i like to have one day at least one of each older bmw all euro style.
