Here's the valve cover paint mod we did for Rambo's e30 today. It was simple and quick mod :)

donor valve cover for $10. cleaned it up with Jasco.


Nice and clean


Taped off and blocked sanded the BMW and horizontal lines


Paint used

Re-sanded high rise BMW and horizonal areas

I might be the first to say but the car dosnt pull off 17's very well. IDK they seem to big the tires sidewalls look round like a touring tire. IDK I think 16x9 would have been a better move.

besides that though, thank you for not leaving your car at stock height while you attend to everything else like everyone else. car's coming together well. steering wheel's nice, regardless of what's stamped on the horn button. looking forward to future plans.

Valve cover was not the only thing we did, replace timing belt and tensioner, cam O-ring and camshaft seal, all hoses, water pump, thermostat, radiator, spark plugs, valve cover gasket, oil change, fuel filter, air filter, all belts, engine fan, fan clutch, distributor cap and rotor.
Center bearing, guibo and alternator was done at the shop...



Quick wash with engine brite degreaser
