    1990 Calypso (kind of) 325i

So I posted pics of my purchase before purchasing it. Well, here are some pics of it after purchasing it. This will be a slow moving project, I figure I'll start here with some pics and eventually start a project thread. I bought her last week for $1,500 and I have a folder of receipts totalling more than that in parts and labor. The plan is to get it to 100% daily driver status. I will do some of the work and my mechanic will do some as well. Cosmetics will come last. Here are the pics! Sorry about the bad quality, taken with my droid.

    I removed the Rack already.

194,000 miles. The paint is absolutely trashed unfortunately. I figure I will keep it in my barn over the winter and prep it for paint (to save some money) then get a respray in the spring.

Looks like you have some rust under the paint there. I hope you are respraying in calypso.

Yah I took that pic to illustrate the only rust on the car. I would never change the color of this car, I love the calypso!

Yah sucks it is so messed up but made for a nice bargaining chip when I bought it. I'm going to put it in my parent's barn this winter and do all the paint prep work myself to save some money. Then fresh calypso come spring time! Anyone know any good body shops in MA?

csermonet47's paint is all original, but not all of them are as lucky ;)

Good looking car other than that!

                        Go here be happy!
