Well....my "plan" is to flip it. I paid a little for it and it needs a bit of work. I know, odd that an e36 needs some work, right? It runs excellent but it aint no e30. These 2 cabrio are totally different. This thing drives like a caddy but faintly like a BMW. Ive had an e46 that feels better than this but this one is a trimed down version....non sport. A great DD imo. Not a drop of oil too.
To make it my own, I was going to run these. BBS RSII 17x8
I picked them up for this very project but might hold on to them for something else in the future.
The major issue with this cabrio is its fully auto top and this was the problem. The e30 cabrio is a cakewalk compared to this thing. But I think I have all the parts to fix it.
Unfortunatly, I forgot the tool to take the brackets off so I just got the top down.
And since I had a little time, I just put on the RSIIs. I think it makes the car! The front needs to come down quite a bit but still an improvement from the stock 15"ers.
Very true! The Tires are a bit small/stretched but they are in better nic than the 15s. I got it with not even 10 miles on new struts so im not sure if springs or in my future.
It was actually the what made me buy the car. I had the wheels lined up before buying the car. Stanced correctly and it will look really nice. Concavity FTW!
