thank you. I haven't really researched that much about the euro bumper setup. I was given a set along with the car, the rear bumper is steel, and seems to extend a couple inches out. The PO has told me that you need to cut a small section out and weld the bumper so it is shortened to fit. Didn't find it believable, and it was irritating so I just took it off .

Beautiful! Throw a Euro bumper on the rear and call it a day.
I love E38 style 5's. How do you like the fitment with 18mm adapters? Any rubbing issues lock to lock?
        Man...makes me hate my zinno.
        Have fun with her!

No rubbing issues sir. I love the fitment, even though my suspension isn't the greatest. Hopefully some GC coilovers will come in the near future. Have you heard of the rear euro bumper being longer than the actual body of the car? Sounded bizarre to me.

Thank you Tim. I have alot of future plans, and need to post a build thread. Would like to be getting this thing slideways very soon, my wallet is keeping me from that.

No, I haven't. Then again someone knowledgeable with rear euro bumper fitment will probably chime in soon.

Maybe the previous owner had a US spec diving board bumper for the rear. That would stick out very far and not flow at all with a front Euro bumper.

This is a car with matching front and rear euro bumpers.

Does the rear bumper look similar that that?

Or this, the 2 pictures on the bottom of the picture.

Thanks! I hope to have Coilovers, rear strut plates, front camber plates & an X-Brace by the time September rolls around. Also reading into M30's and how much they get along with a little bit of boost. :nice:
