Love the car! Great work so far, please don't put Type A's on there those wheels may be small but they look so damn good, perhaps some 10 mm spacers would help.

Alright, I finally got some good pictures taken after the suspension install.

Here's a list of everything that went in:

GC coils 525 front 750 rear w/ valved koni's and street camber plates - full touring kit
IE sway bars, 25mm front 22mm rear
                      new control arms
                      new brakes/rotors/ebrake shoes/ebrake cables
full poly subframe, diff, rtabs bushings from AKG
                      treehouse racing control arm bushings

This car now handles like it's on absolute rails. I'm looking forward to eventually get some auto-x. I've already spun out the car (oops) the first day it rained after the suspension...it really took my by surprise with how responsive the thing is. The car turned from me wanting push it further, to the car wanting to push me further. It's a great feeling and I'm looking forward to pushing my driving skills.

I also did euro trim and changed out the silly clear signal indicators. 6k HID's in lows and fog lights... I ordered 5k but got 6k, i'll live with it until they burn out. Oh and I just picked up a Thule roof rack to cart around my snowboards

                      Currently looking for new wheels!

I'll get more pictures eventually showing the final ride height later.

                              Well, it's a sad day...

Vancouver has had quite the dry spell over the last little while, but recently, there has been some rainfall. This has made for some slippery conditions and some very nice oil slicks in the roads. I was unlucky enough to hit one of these oil slicks after being stopped at an intersection and making a left hand turn. As I was going through the turn, I lost traction in my front wheels and started heading for a pole because of massive under steer, I corrected by hitting the brakes, counter steering, and blipping the throttle. At this point I wasn't overly concerned, i've delt with it before and I can deal with it again. But then, after I corrected it, the rear end started giving out. I almost saved it after that but then I had something happen that I had no idea how to control. Cankick. After the rear end kicked out and I corrected it, the car shot the other way, spun, and was heading towards a curb on the driver side. I was only going about 40km so things weren't happening too fast, but it was still out of my level of control.

My car mounted the raised curb sideways and pointed the wrong direction. I haven't gotten a chance to take a really good look at the car yet, but for now I know for sure that the wheels are toast, control arm is bent, axle is broken, and a few other things. The damage isn't pretty, and I'm thinking it won't be worth fixing for the insurance company (i have full coverage), so I may be out of the car I waited so long to own :(

I'll post the 1 picture I have of the scene, and then some more pictures of the damage later after I deal with the insurance company. I'm pretty bummed about all this, especially after all this suspension work had just been finished not even a month ago...

Before someone tries to be a dick: No I was not drifting. No I wasn't speeding. No I wasn't driving out of my comfort zone. Simply put, I lost control of the car, and I didn't know how to control it.
