Sorry, but 5 spd > 6 spd. 50 pounds lighter, half the price, doesn't require $600 custom driveshaft and custom trans brace, etc... I wouldn't use an overdrive gear anyway, I'm always in attack mode with 5th gear :p

Haha yup, apparently nobody wants a 6 speed e34. I can't even give it away.

It's too bad when I bought this thing there were like 6 other people trying to buy it from the same guy and I actually had to drive 16 hours to get it. FML

Yep, it's the same ZF310/320 as the e36 328/M3 uses, just with the V8 bellhousing/front case. They are somewhat rare... but usually not too expensive. $300-$400 typically. I saw one at a local junkyard last time I was there as well.. just didn't feel like pulling it haha.

The car is currently torn apart for the winter, I made a list of things that needed fixed after driving it for a few months.

Lol. My car isn't a show car, it's just a daily driver. I just ask that if anyone wants to touch it, they better have a wrench in their hand and be working on fixing some of the ongoing problems, haha.
