    Looks good...nice and clean!

Tip on the trim, if you dont or cant get all the new stuff, scrub it down good with some "goof off" and then shine it up. Used it on mine and it works wonders.

            Verts represent!

Looks great. My 88 vert was my gateway BMW, recently picked up a e28 535i 5 speed.

I would love to have a 5 speed e23 also...

If I were you, I would stay away from any of the v12 cars. An e38 740 is an awesome choice though.

dude badass man! i had a bronzit 88 535i 5spd and i loved it but my damn girlfriend at the time TOTALED it. i was so pissed. hang on to that car and cherish it, they're getting hard to find around here atleast.

spike, no reason to be jealous my man, you're vert is way hotter than mine :)

i'll try the goof off and back to black method here soon but i'm definitely getting new trim. gotta start doing it right you know?

hopefully next year comes leather and in '14 paint then i should be done. in the meantime its rear bushings, oil changes etc. gonna get 55w 5000k bulbs for the headlights and 35w 5000k for the fogs in a couple of weeks too. after 10 years of driving it and 22 years of having it, i still love this car more than anything. test drove a newer 135i 6 spd, while it was fast, it just didn't have the e30 driving thrill.

how come? if its just for gas mileage im not too worried as i live 4 miles from the office. but if there are internal issues then i may steer clear. i had a 93 e32 740il silver on black and was very impressed how the v8 pulled that tank. just thought the v12 would give me some extra joy. i miss that e32 so much...

here it was when i first got it (missing the DS fender and turn signal lol i soon replaced them)

                  and my old lovely e28

and what the female did to it

was possibly repairable but at the time we didn't have the money

its not the gas mileage its the maintenance and the reliability of the motor.

What kind of mechanical issues were the most common? Im pretty stuck on the 750iL. Id immediately change the waterpump/thermostat, coolant, fuel and vacuum hoses, and any other typical maintenance parts that are usually overlooked when people get rid of a car.
