[hr]Plans for this car are to fit a 2.5 and strip the interior. I'm not that keen on red so I might have a go at painting it.... Blue with a paint roller. The current engine is going to be fitted to an old rough touring destined for the scrap pile...

Progressed a bit with this today, just waiting on the engine lift then we can get it out.

Bonnet removed



Removal of everything else needed,





Keep it tidied in boxes




Ready to get underneath and unbolt everything else :)

The engine lift arrived, spent a bit of time today removing the prop, gear linkage, exhaust downpipe, oil cooler, gearbox mount etc.

Mike got his hands dirty



Added some nuts and bolts to the box

Engine out !



Step one - Attach rope







Step two - Lift engine then forget to undo loom from ecu oops



Step three - remember to unbolt everything else we forgot and lift some more



Step four - Use a rope attached to a scooter to pull the engine level



Step five - Admire the empty space then climb in for a comedy photo with pedo spec glasses found in an E28
