                  For some reason I thought the 320is came with an s14? Maybe I'm thinking of something else.

                    For E30s, not for E21s I assumed. I don't know E21 models, owner provided info+mods, I wouldn't think he'd mislabel his own car...

                      That's not a 320. If that M20 came in the car as OE equipment, that's a 323i. That's a 2.3L M20.

                        E30 320is came with an S14. E21 320i was an M10. E21 323's are M20 cars.

                          That M20 did not, that one was built by Pete McHenry as outlined in the article.

                          I'm going to assume this came with an M10 OE, then got a 323i motor, then got that 2.7L M20. It's all with the history of the vehicle in the article. It probably says 320is on the title, but in reality it's more 323 than 320, with a 2.7L engine in it.
