A Couple Pictures. Now Lower With New Wheels

Had a real nice day today so I went out with a good friend to shoot a couple pictures.

    Pictures Here http://imgur.com/a/0tHnF

The Wheels are Klutch Republik SL1s in 15x8.5 et17. The fronts have a 6mm spacer to clear the struts and calipers and the rears currently have no spacer, but I will be putting a 12mm spacer out back. The tires are 165-45-15s all the way around, and yes i know there way to small(i didnt choose the tire sizes) but i am looking at getting 175-50s or 185-50s. If anyone knows where to find these sizes please let me know because ive been looking and having no luck finding any.

The Volvo lip absolutely DESTROYS that car. Totally cheapens the look of the whole thing. Which then leads to the front bumper, it looks like you just rattle-canned the entire thing flat-black, and it looks like even the turn signal lenses? And you're definitely right about the tires, it looks like it should be on wire-spoke Daytons.

Sorry to lay nothing but criticisms down, but that car has a lot of potential, and a lot of things dragging it down. A new chrome kidney would really set the front end off, and play off the polished lips on the wheels. A standard i front lip would really work well also, it's very off-balance on an early-body since they have no rear valance to have a big, deep front chin. Right now, it just looks like a snowplow.

These are just my opinions, but my .02 is that this car really needs a few minor tweaks to be really sweet.

The front bumper was rattle canned black, but only the silver aluminum parts. As for the turn signals go they were not just spray painted, but tinted(dont know why did it when i was younger). and as for the i lip and the kidneys, they are both on my list of things to purchase next, along with a late model rear valence to even out the look like you said but before any of that gets done, i need to worry about the timing belt and water pump service that needs to be done as well as all the bushings in the front end, as well as some in the rear.

im just a college kid on a tight budget so things are getting done at a slow pace.

as for the tires comment, does anyone know where to get the tire sizes stated above?

also, the front turn signals, is there any way to get clear lenses? before i tinted them thats what i was looking for an i never came around to finding any

The tires you want are still too small and will look like a bracelet.

get at least 195/50 for that look you're going for.

i already had thought about 195-50s but on an 8.5 i would not have enough stretch in the rear for once i space it out. with that thick of a sidewall and that wide of a tread i would need to pull my fenders a little and i really dont like the whole modified fender look. rolling them is one thing, but then pulling them just looks goofy in my opinion. 185-50s would be the perfect tire size, but finding them is going to be difficult, and finding a decent, stretchable tire will be even harder.

Then run less spacer, problem solved.
