    E30 Swag: M3 l MTech II HardTop l 318i

Nothing like a family of E30s getting together to wrench on a Saturday night, each E30 modded to our own liking. After several meetings, the idea of the modern footwell lamps as well as lit door handles came about.. here's what we ended up with. A couple of crappy shots until we can get a real photographer to come out to shoot the trio. Pm Alpinem325 or I if interested in the lightwork we have to offer. C&C welcome!

My sticker for ****s&giggles from this last weekend's Legends in Monterey lol

I think he went to a tuner car show and got inspired xD Now he is offering to do it for others? Kinda backwards...I did those "mods" when I was 15. Brings back memories of audio comps and my massive subwoofer setup.

Nice M3, the footing lights are awesome, I did red in my e30 abbot 4 years ago and had more in my hatchback civic 8 years ago. They are great for when you drop something on the ground. I plan on some light blue in my current e30.

For the foot lighting all you have to do is wire up a pair of these:

To the cigarette lighter and a switch in the middle:
Just plug this 3-Way Cold Cathode Sound Activation Module into your current Cathode Kit, and those dull, steady cathodes of yours will instantly be turned into stunning sound sensitive cathodes. This sound activated 3-way modular kit from Logisys includes one innovative clear two-output inverter, integrated with a sound activated module, a blue LED light, and one PCI On / Off / Sound switch, as well as an adjustable sensitivity knob. This activation kit will work with any of our cold cathode lamps, including 4”, 12” and 15”. Features: Sound Control Activation Adjustable Sensitivity ON / OFF Switch (Overrides Sound Control) Specifications: Input Voltage: DC 12 Volt Input Current: 700mA Input Connector: Molex 4-pin Connector (w/ Pass-Through) Output Connector: 2 Output Socket for Dual 4", 12” or 15” Cathodes

For the door lighting use a small LED and drill a hole a TINY bit bigger than the LED. Then wire a switch in the middle of the LED and a power source.
Want full control over your interior PC lighting, nestled all snugly-like in the palm of your hand? Equipped with four different buttons, the Logisys 4-zone Multi-Mode Remote Control Molex Connector Kit is an easy-to-use unit that can be selected by 1, 2, 3, 4 buttons. Each channel has 4 seperate functions, which are A, B, C, D. Each time you press Function A key, the brightness will be reduced by 1 step (with 8 steps total). Want some extra intensity for your next PC dance party? Function B allows the user to enter 6-step strobe mode and allows you to customize the amount of flashes. Function C will control your lighting by increasing and decreasing brightness, and is set to continue in a loop. Function D, well, that one will just turn off all the other functions (hey, they can't all be awesome, right?) So if you're looking for some cool and customizable functionality to your inner PC lighting, the Logisys Multi-Mode Remote Control Molex Connector Kit is just the component to handle it. Specifications: Voltage:DC 12}10%Volt Current: MAX 12A MAX 3 A per channel Rated Power: MAX 144 Watts Receiving Range: 30M (98.40ft) No Obstacles Present Frequency: 315Mhz Temperature: -10 ~ 50C Dimension: 75 x 61 x 25mm

When I did all my wiring I ran a 10ga wire direct from the battery to power all of the lights. Get a volt meter and zip ties and go to town! You will want a constant power source if you want to power up the car when it is turned off. Just poke around with the car off(red or red/green wires) once you find a 12.** source tap in and ground it out(brown). But if I were you run a wire back from the battery to power it on it's own.

With the cigarette lighter wiring you will run into light fluttering and VERY dim if you extend too far away. It is too much to power two on one little source. Another reason to go for the 10ga wire from the battery.
