    My M60 6 speed 318is

    I finally got a chance to post completed pictures of my M60 swap. I am not a photographer by any definition of the word so bear with my basic pocket Nikon snap and shoot "photoshoot." I still have a few things to tweak but I feel it is complete enough to post.











    Mods:

    Engine:

    94 M60 from an E32 740il
    Resealed with new timing guides/ chains/ tensioners
    Powercoated timing covers "natural aluminum"
    Powercoated valve covers "wrinkle black"

    Drivetrain:

    UUC 240mm flywheel
    Stock 540 clutch
    S6S 420G 6 speed trans
    Custom 740/e30 driveshaft from Driveline in Lorton VA
    AKG DTM shifter
    Custom shortened E39 selector rod
    3.25 LSD

    Suspension:

    E36 M3 front/ 318ti rear
    BMP swaybars

    Rear:

    Bilstein sport rear shocks
    AKG billet shock mounts
    Delrin trailing arm/ diff mount
    Powerflex subframe bushings
    TCKline rear adjusters
    600lb 5" springs

    Front:

    Treehouse control arm bushings
    Ireland front ride height adjusters
    Koni SA struts
    400lb 6" springs
    Ground control camber plates
    Powerslot front rotors
    Axxis ultimate front pads
    Turner solid caliper bushings
    E36 M3 rack 96+

    Body:

    Complete exterior in Sterling Silver (original color)

            you should adjust your white balance (whether in camera setting or post-editing software).

            and I really do wanna just sit in there and feel the power..awesome ride and the setup.

              Thank you for the tips. If I had time or Internet at my house I would put a little more effort into adjusting these pictures but it's difficult to do in the Starbucks parking lot down the road. I made a choice to rid myself of cable and Internet at the house a while back, long story but my productivity in the garage and other areas of the house increased tremendously. Thanks for the compliment!

                  I did the same thing except just cut cable TV, not internet. I can't go without internet. Cable TV I don't care about and haven't had the desire to watch in a long time. I'm only paying $30 a month for internet and no cable TV.

                    ^Me too. I had Free to Air satelite and when it went down I never replaced it. Its back now tho. I've been without any kind of TV for like 3 years now.

                    Anyway you guys all have m60's? (can't tell whats in white e30).
                    I want a nice set of smoked MHW's (I know, get it line)

                      Yeah all M60 swap's. Was cool seeing how everyone did things a little differently than one another. I'd like to think it was the most M60 swapped e30's photographed in one place ever haha!
