    RIP 325ix.. Hello 325i

I haven't posted much on the forums, but I figured I'd tell everyone my deal.

I've been around e30s my whole life and I was attached to these cars since day one. My father came to the states in 80s to open a German Auto shop and bought himself a 4 door bronzit 325 to get around in, pushing that car past 500k miles he realized that car was a compact german tank. He stuck by that car like a fly on shit.. He actually drove my mother to the hospital when she went into labor with me in that car :p Anyways, we took that car everywhere when I was a kid! I was infatuated with that "rocket ship" (in my child eyes haha) of a car! Unfortunately my dad decided he wanted a new car and sold it around 2001 After realizing what he had done, he was itching to find another one.. and we did.

We serviced a friends 2door 88 325ix and she ran into some cash problem and decided that she needed to get rid of that car. We bought it for 250 bucks and that was to be my car when I got my licence and I was so stoked!

Here are some pic of the 325ix

Sadly I crashed that car up in Malibu in 2010.. I was devastated. I still think about this awd monster everyday.

Then we went along to replace that guy with an 86 vert and a 92 vert, but I really wanted a coupe.. Sure enough my neighbor bought a coupe and didnt want to pay for the work and he decided one day to just hand me the pink slip!

But I'm going to stop rambling.. Here's my new whole in the wallet

All my friends drive Hondas, so I figured I'd be an asshole:p Don't get me wrong, I do like some Hondas

    Lowered on H&R race springs

I've done a lot of work already to get this car to run at 100%

    Replaced the tranny
Replaced the engine head after the timing belt snapped
    New shocks
    New springs
Swapped comfort seats for the sport seats
    Replaced all the injectors
Replaced the fuel pump and filter
    Replaced left control arm
Probably more things that I've forgotten about haha

I'm open to all suggestions too!

Nice euro plate lol. With some good cleanup work that paint looks it might be able to be brought back to life.

Something in me wants to keep that weathered look
