    Newish Member with a 325e

Well back in March 2011 I came across a great deal on a 1985 325e. I just had to drive 2-3 hours to get it. I picked the car up and enjoyed it very much so. A week later the previous previous owner contacted me and wanted his old car back and offered me a substantial deal so I couldn't really pass it up. So basically I had this e30 for about a week.

Then in January 2012 a bought a motorcycle. I got in an accident and repaired it a few months later and rode it some more. The bike needed some cosmetic work and I was really tired of messing with it and basically lost interest in the bike. I was browsing my local craigslist ads and I found this e30. Long story short I traded my bike for this 1987 325e.

What it looked like when I first bought it on August 27th:

Really the only issue with the interior is the hole in the seat

    Crackless dash!

First day with the car at work

Got the paint off the amber lenses

Added an OE kidney grille and tag piece and this is pretty much how it sits today

Only issue is the ICV which I have one on order.

I'd like to get some nice wheels eventually. I'm really not a fan of the current wheels. I'm thinking about finding some basket weaves and selling the current set. I look forward to being part of this forum community. I've poked around in here for a bit and you guys have helped me out a lot so far.

The previous guy really loved his E30 I guess.

Apparently. You'd have to ask the previous owner.

At least glare from sun/lights is not a problem... waxing it looks like it will be useless also. What wheels are those on it anyhow?

At some point I'd like to paint it back to the original color which is burgundrot metallic.

They look like Enkei EM5 knockoffs. I'm trying to get rid of them.

Will do! I wouldn't mind having a nice rear valence to go with it.

I'm not sure if the previous owner had two adds or forgot to take the add down, but I just ran across the add for your car...
