1990 325i Brillantrot DD| Build/Progress

Picked up this clean 90 325i sedan at the beginning of summer, some progress over the last few months to get her back to her former glory.

With only 115K original miles, the engine pulls strong being barely broken in.

However the suspension needed alot of TLC.

When I first bought her...

Looks good, I'd lose the angel eyes though and the ///M badge. What springs are you on?

Details on the diff rebuild? I have a 4.10 sitting in my yard that I've been told needs new clutches, but they're too expensive for it to be worth it.

And also...damn you're lucky to have access to a full shop. I still have a blister on my hand from burning out subframe bushings this weekend.

my LSD had bad gasket and seals were leaking. clutch is good.

+1, i wanted to go with black leather but its impossible to find a clean set of black leather sport seats that do not reupholstering. Vinyl looks just as good.

Thanks! Being a bargin bin hunter when it comes to these "cosmetic" parts, the ebay lights might stay on there for awhile until I can find a good deal on a set of ellipsiods or smileys that are plug and play with the HIDs. I still need to do a short shifter kit and shift bushing rebuild/seals replaced so $ is going to that next.
