Yours sure looked fantastic to me, SeatownE30!

If anyone here hasn't yet seen SeatownE30's AWII 4-door sedan, check it out, he has a posting here somewhere with some excellent pics. It just looks soooooo right.

Appreciate the compliments. Took it on a nice drive with the wife to Superior, AZ for breakfast this morning. After all these years I still look around the interior while I drive marveling how everything is so simple yet so right. Modern cars seem so needlessly complex by comparison. To be honest, though, the build quality and materials in modern cars are pretty impressive, but 22+ years of change hasn't brought any significant fundamental progress that I can see.

Anyway, no new projects for my car yet, but I'm still on the lookout for a matching passenger door window to replace the non-matching window the PO installed for some reason:

Everything these days is style over function. Today's style with cars' high belt lines, for example, makes for issues like poor visibility and blind spots. Compared to more modern cars, the amount I can see in the e30 is incredible.Appreciate the compliments. Took it on a nice drive with the wife to Superior, AZ for breakfast this morning. Anyway, your car is absolutely immaculate. Mine is a stock-ish AW coupe as well, and I hope I can get my car as clean as yours some day. Don't change a thing except for replacing necessary parts to keep it up.1989 325i coupe 5MT Alpine White
