I have to strongly disagree with this. BMWs aren't too terrible, but basically all American car's interiors and even many lower model Japanese cars have really gone down the drain as far as interior quality goes.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Very nice. I love that your not going to do any aftermarket mods and keeping the car stock for the most part. Have you thought of adding things that were OEM options that weren't on that car to begin with (i.e. maplight mirror, etc.)? I've always loved the OEM plus route opposed the heavily modded aftermarket street car.

Yes, I have thought about adding some OEM options. Per the build sheet, it already came equipped with a lot of the goodies like the map light mirror and the 13-button OBC as well as leather sports seats, fogs and LSD, and the spoilers, of course. My first real break from US-spec originality was the OEM 15" wheels. I did look at mods like adding rear seat headrests, smileys, front storage tray (replacing ashtray), a 2nd trunk light (had one for a while), and trunk storage tray. In the end, I decided against these either to keep things clean and simple or because I was in one of my more strict "keep it original" moods. I also (so far) didn't want to do something non-US-spec that wasn't easily reversible.

NOS part no's for some of the connectors are in a thread I made last year, just do a quick search. Lovely example, keep it clean.

Yup, I've used your thread a number of times, very helpful, thanks! Regarding the washer pump connector, from what I've been able to determine, the blue connector was phased out sometime in the past, and the gray is all that's currently listed as the correct part (it fits fine). Inquiries with BMW NA were unsuccessful (surprise, surprise).
