BaaaahahahahahahaIt was great day for a cruise, we had some nice weather too. Looking forward to the next meet.
Unfortunately my car looked like a 4x4 next to these guys!
Oh and one more thing....
What the fuck is this a warcraft forum, threads got more trolls than a damn MMO.
Bitches complaining about gloves and jeans like it's a damn fashion meet.
Get the fuck out your mama's closet and into the garage.Leave a comment:

Hell yeah on that man, should have felt how that vert handled before I swapped the new suspension over to it.Nice, E30's always feel way better once you get rid of the 20+ year old bushings.
Are you running a rear bar, how is it in the rain. I think I'm going to disconnect my rear bar today and see if it helps with wet traction. Need to finish putting my POS Subaru transmission back in so I can park the E30 for the winter and get some work done to it.
I am running a stock with new bushings, I disconnect it at SCCA. I am changing that next year though. While my brother was co-driving at the last event I noticed it is solid and flat. The point of unbolting the rear sway is to help with the wheel lifting under HARD cornering. You lose traction if it does that with the LSD diff.
It never lifted the body on any of the turns, so I am going to get the matching UUC rear kit that is adjustable.
I went with the BFG G-Sport performance tires, they are insanely amazing in the rain. I know so because it rained at an event last month. I lost only 2-3 seconds in the rain while others were losing 6+.
I think what most people are forgetting here is the rear is adjustable for camber and toe. I have it at the highest setting for correction. Thus I get more traction, granted I can get it sideways with little effort. But it sticks back down very fast at around 3k rpms in first. Then just a tiny chirp in 2nd. All about putting the power to the ground.
I have plans for new wheels over the winter, all I can say is tons of meat and more wide ;) Granted I am stepping down in wheel diameter.
My baby is going into a heated garage in a month. I need to find a Subaru asap, been searching everyday. Buying those Recaros and the race head parts/machine work ate up my winter car money.Leave a comment:

Nice, E30's always feel way better once you get rid of the 20+ year old bushings. The coilovers are not the special part, they just lower it. I am just very pleased with how it responds for track and SCCA use. It is all new poly bushings with proper valved inserts and stiff springs. Sure it is a bitch to DD, but it is amazing in SoloX and back roads.
I think what really makes it different is the beefy sway bars and e30 M3 sway mod. I am also really excited to have it on the road after two years of building it. I know GC is just a suspension CO, and it is nothing new. But when you swap out all those old ass rubber bushings and replace them with hard poly it really makes it a new animal. If you were local I would let you take it for a spin.
I cannot wait for the turbo to be on it, NA is no cutting it. Just got the built 885 race head back from the machine shop. So I will see how the 2.7i conversion feels.

Ahem...youre up to 3 in this little thread battle.
I've ridden in the car, i've driven the car, i've crawled under to scope out the fucking wild set up he's done. I mean he's pushing some limits of whats available on the market. Not to mention he's a rather pleasant fellow if you aren't an arrogant twat.
Regardless it was spectacular to see so many e30's rolling around binghamton. A great time that i'm looking forward to again!Leave a comment:

It's cheddar, you didn't have to think about it much, I had already spelled it for you correctly..
Sorry man, I really had no idea you'd get so mad.
You should have spent a little more time looking through my post history. Good and bad, expensive and cheap, I've probably owned more e30's than you've had lays in your life.
I'd return the favor and get a little bit better perspective on you but it's much harder to sort through 6 posts a day then less than 1.Leave a comment:

wtf are you talking about? who says "chedder" anymore. haha noob.Oh it gets much worse than that. I actually bought a set of Sportmaxx 501's after that thread. I really dug those wheels. Ironic thread titles were all the rage in 2010 and who hasn't cut a coil? You? I mean c'mon
The fact is, you're a twat. It's been confirmed. You can throw all that cheddar at your car, and you still have a rough e30 with a few thousand in uninspired bolt ons. Don't get me wrong, that describes the majority of us, but don't act like you're some suspension shaman, its a street setup for god's sake.
Lastly, you annoy me sometimes, but that doesn't mean we can't get along. We're all children of the greater r3v addiction after all are we not?
A few thousand, I wish it was just a few. Price you pay to build something to race every other weekend. I am shocked you own an e30; fake splits, cut coils and waffleswaffleswaffleswaffles attitude. Seems like you're a Honda kid.
It is not a street setup in the slightest bit, but you and your cut coils know shit. I have never cut springs, I have this thing called a job. I get money and I buy correct parts.
Here is the build:
It looks bad with the keyed paint, mismatched hood and fender, gutted interior etc. It was not built for looking pretty.
You must not know me well, I don't get along well with morons. I don't give a fuck if you are a member here or own an e30. Do the world a favor:Last edited by F34R; 10-15-2012, 03:20 PM.Leave a comment:
