Here's my 17" style 5's with 20mm adapters all the way around. These are the wheels from my s50 car so the tires are 215/40-17 which is a little too big for use with the adapters.

The rear fitment is perfect imo. The front needs to be set in a few mm's more though.

My 16's have my 225/45 race tires on them so they don't come near fitting either. I really like the look of the 17's better. I think I'll polish up one of my other sets and put some 205's on them and maybe swap the front adapters to 18mm. or I guess I could swap on my e36 parts from my m3 parts car and run regular 5 bolt on the front.

Had the chance to buy a set of these wheels for $100 and didn't...after seeing this, I hate myself for not doing it.

I'll be finishing polishing the lips these next few days and will likely be painting the centers white for a while

WHITE?!?! I would think polished lips and silver centers would look perfect.

That's why I'm not running them. I'm parting out a '98 M3 so I think I'll just do a 5-bolt swap at least on the front for now.

My old 318is that I put 20mm adapters on. Tires are 225/45/16, rubbed a lot.

                              For a while I ran 20mm adapters with e36 style 5s,et41.
I believe the tires were 215/45/17.

When did style 5's ever come for an e36? I've never seen et41 version
