      What treads are you sporting?

Il duce- wont you have offset problems? Or are you talkin' about using 10mm spacers with 8" wide wheels?

If you do, go with 17x8 front AND rear, it will look better, imo.

Yea that way it doesn't look all mexi hiked in the rear or flair the fuck out of your fenders so you can drop it.

I'll second this. Wheels look too big to me.

                        looks awesome

do you still have a M42 in the car, or are you planning a motor swap?
What brake setup are you using?

The tires are no name 215/40/17. They are the same size as the Style 32s just a different offset in the rear. The fronts have 10mm spacers so they can clear the calipers. (they work fine with worn pads)
Most of the style 5 sets out there are 17 x 8 all round and these just fell in to my hand so no complaints
They are not permanent as the car will soon be sitting down for a rest and when it comes back it will be on 15s.
Car has the stock motor and stock e30 m3 brakes; balo rotors and Hawk HPS
I have chosen not to roll the rear fenders in order to fit adequate size rubber as that would make the 15s look goofy. The m42 heart stays :dot:
