Sweet e28 indeed, and much lowered, but those "too big" tires make it appear quite high to my eye.
I know, compare wheel center to side line, it is low...Current:

Haha, damn that E28 looks pretty mean... I think it has 255s on 10 inch rims, kinda weird but necessary because BMW built the E28 kinda lopsided. The right rear has less tire clearance side to side than the left rear, by about 5/8 of an inch!
Kinda makes me want to abandon my E30 335i project all together and put the bad ass euro 3.5 in my E28...'88 528e /// '88 M5 /// '89 951 /// '98 E430 /// '02 M5Comment

Mike, your E30 is definitely low. I wish more people were posting low ones though.
I don't have any pictures of my old one, and a kid ran into it while it was parked, so it's totaled now, but mine was less than an inch off the ground with my reiger lip and splitter, and the frame rails/exhaust/etc... were about an inch and a half up. My exhaust would shoot sparks on the highway at night sometimes... I loved it!Comment
