    ix Post Sandy

Thanks to Guten Parts, I had a chance to wash/clean up my ix after Sandy rolled through our area. While it wasn't the best day, it was certainly the best time to take a few photos of my girl.

    Here you go:

Thanks guys. Levent wouldn't let me make any changes even if I wanted to... so she stays relatively stock (muffler/springs & shocks were replaced.)

Haha thanks man. Here's what I've been told by others:

"Swap to plastics... actually... you don't need to."

"DEFINITELY change to plastics... well, yours don't look too bad as is."

"The ix DB's either are or appear to be shorter than normal DBs, so they look OK, don't swap to plastics."

I've gone back and forth a lot on this issue. One positive is the DBs can withstand a higher speed bump/nudge without showing any damage. I do think plastics would still look better, but I can manage with these.

Whew! Glad she's look'n good and everything is OK. Your's is one of my other favorite '88s so it's good to see it looking happy.
