    New e30 owner, Alpine content

I purchased a 87 es a couple of weeks ago and is in the process of being shipped here as we speak. I searched for months on craigslist all over the south east and couldnt find a nice e30 for the right price, so this was for sale in california on ebay and won it surprisingly for a good price. I made out better than anything Id find over on this coast for the amount + shipping I paid for it. (it has red leathers also). It will be here friday, but Im too excited to wait to post this.

I'ts going to be my track toy also, as have the rest of my previous vehicles have been. This is what Im planning to do to it until I can afford some TR C1 wheels and good tires.

I looked at and bid that car but settled on another (bought off this forum). How ironic that the car is coming to Raleigh regardless. We should meet up, interested in seeing that car in person.

Congrats on the purchase. I truly hope you're not disappointed once you see it in person.

Throwing hints out I see. Wish I could be there for the reaction.

Saying this because you've seen the car in person? Or just the sketchyness of buying over ebay without seeing it first?

Again, ironic that both our cars were on the same truck. Your car was well worth the price you paid. Yours was in the back here.

Good to see you on the r3v Brock! This is Clay, the guy who loaned you the engine hoist for your VW. I can't wait to see what you do with your e30!

I cant wait until I start modding it, hopefully I wont dump as much money into it as my gti though.

I just got the car home from off the truck. Overall Im pleased with it. Theres some things that are visible that were not mentioned in the add Im kind of bummed about. There is some paint cracking about the size of a dollar bill on the ps rear quarter that was not addressed which kind of made me upset because the car was advertised "perfect exterior". Also some drivers side rocker damage thats not too visible. Nothing to complain about on the inside, the engine was also advertised as "working perfectly" but the truck driver said it was leaking oil. We will see more when it gets light out tomorrow. still better off than anything i could get over here
