I love the way e46s look, but I am not in love with the way they drive. I test drove my buddies (former) e46 m3 for him and left feeling the car was inadequate. Just my opinion... E30s are ok. They're fun to drive and fun to work on, but I prefer the e36 for a *driver's* car. The e36 interior might be crap, but the chassis is great.

Also, LOL at e46s being expensive to own. 3-series parts are dirt cheap. E46s seem to have some common problem areas, but nothing too severe and plenty have beaucoup miles on them.

Yea u can't really tell by the pics. But whatever. Doesn't matter. No I have never seen a CSL Before. I randomly assume that a CSL is all OEM with CSL WHEELS and that's what make it a CSL REP. I didn't know they had a fr bumper cover with carbon 1x1 weave splitters with one intake hole on the driver side that goes to a carbon air box. Or had a different bootlid. OMG I just found out that they have carbon door cards! What?! There only $3k used!!!!! I might have to pick up the whole interior!

So if you know all this, how can you call your car a CSL rep?
BTW, those wheels came on competition package M3's. I bet you thought they were imported them from Europe.

I dd my e46 coz I want to preserve my 73k miles E30. The E46 drives like a boat and my E30, like a go kart.

Now let's gloat some more, I needed to replace the EGS on the E46 and cost me $1700 from the dealership. Insert all the curse words here. Not buying another E46 ever. I wish someone would rear end me bad on this thing so I can just take the engine and swap it into an E30.

I drive an E46 daily and I will not buy another one. Frankly, it's given me a lot of indications that it wasn't built to last like E30s or E34s were. I'm going to probably be replacing the E46 soon with either a W123/4 or an E34. The E46 has plenty of weak points and is expensive as hell to own.
