I felt that my smoked smileys weren't poppin' enough, so I replaced the black headlight rings with polished metal rings. But the polish has dulled, so I plan to replace the polished headlight rings with chrome rings. The chrome headlight rings will also accentuate the chrome grill.

    Looks awesome!

Go this route, Barry. That looks amazing.

Barry, you should probably just sell me the smoked lights.

I voted smoked. I don't care for the chrome rings on the smoked smileys - looks out of place IMO. Nice MT2.

That's how I'm running mine. Being a black car, the front end was too dark imo. Silver/polished rings add a clean look.

I have a set of each. I think the clear ones are slightly brighter when using the high beams. Those X's in the middle most certainly block some output.

Anyway I think the clear ones look better.

voted smoked, but chrome kidney if you do imo.

the e30 front looks great with some contrast, very few smoked/blacked out E30 fronts
that i have seen look right. there are many variables/combinations of parts and color that would need to be present in order to look good to my taste.

                            car color is great btw

neither of them look good, you better just give me the whole car so you don't have to look at it ;)

i'd go with clear I think
