now im not an expert on fairings and aerodynamics but shouldnt your ski tips be behind the fairing for the fairing to actually work?

I think fairings are for when there isnt any cargo actually on the rack. I can't imagine the fairing doing anything for when people have bikes or baskets with stuff in it.
