My first e30 (1991 318is)

Bought this 318is over the weekend to use for autocross. Came with Bilstein shocks, H&R springs and upgraded sway bars. Kosei K1 whells also.

Started ordering parts and I'll start a build log when I begin.

Well, I've been working on maintenance items and not getting too deep yet. Next up is to replace the differential seals. Following that, I will probably pull the motor and re-gasket the entire thing (possibly go ahead and build up the motor to handle boost).

I forgot to mention that the car came with the dinan chip, but I wanted to try out the Mark D chip since he had a good end of year sale I couldnt pass it up. Will be installing it and the 19lbs Mustang 4 pintle injectors next week.

Took the car out last month in the rain for the last auto-x of the year. Leaking coolant the whole time. Since then I've fixed all leaks except the power steering and differential. Both are on the list to be worked on in the next week.

Not really a big update, buuuut...

Worked on the diff and replaced the rear seals and fluid





I really need a creeper...my hip hurt for 2 days after that.

I also purchased this... :)




To do list:
Purchase injectors, fuel pump and MS2 system
Replace Timing components
Replace fuel filter
Reseal/gasket motor
Begin working on spare motor build up
