Here it is...91 318is. Just ordered an M-Tech front bumper! I'll post some new shots when its painted and installed.







Just got new CF black and white roundels and painted the hood black since its beyond faded. Haven't taken any good shots of it yet

The front end of your car really turns me off. It is too busy and nothing really looks like it belongs but, it's your car.

I do think the wheels have potential though, they are definitely unique.

Thanks! Wheels are actually knock offs, :/. I got a hell of a deal on them so I'm not complaining. Debating on color choices right now.

As for the suspension and tires, I'm running Vogtland 2in drop springs and Bilstein struts/shocks. Tires are Dunlops, forget which model...they came on the wheels. I'll be getting new ones soon though. The rear fenders are rolled, but they still rub slightly under hard cornering. The guy who had them before me put 215/55's on there. I'm switching to 225/45's. Not a huge fan of the stretch.

Not sure what you mean by too much going on with the front, but it may be the lip? It was black when I got it, but I bumped a curb with it and cracked it. Tried to fix it with some epoxy and CF vinyl wrap, but it didn't hold. So the black and white checkers is actually duct tape. Held together till last night when I nailed a tire chunk on the road. Royally pissed me off!

Also may be the ridiculous plates we get in Texas. I just updated my registration though and got the new plates...all black and white now! Look WAY better

That's why I ordered the M-Tech though...should look way better.

This car has so much potential. Obviously this is your car but you should consider a few things, i.e. iS lip color (black or body matched), lose the eyelids, tinted turn signals, euro trim, ellips or smileys, ... Maybe new wheels/tire set up. Just some constructive criticism. Also, give us some interior shots. 318iS comes with the best interiors IMO.

I appreciate any kind of input. The eyelids I like, I decided on those. The lip, read above and you'll see why its not paint matched. I could have used black tape, but I knew it would be temporary till I got a new lip so I did something random. Won't matter now though, M-tech II on the way.

As for the signals, I'm not opposed to tinted ones..when I got the clears, I didn't even see the tinted ones. I'll have to look into the Euro trim..not sure I know the difference yet. Lastly, I def want some Ellipsoids...BAD. Those will come when I have the cash.

Oh and the wheels I dig too, I got a killer deal on these...so I went with them. When I have the cash, CCW Classics are up next. Gold with polished lip, 15x8 all around. That's my ideal set up...but CCW's don't come cheap! Lol

The interior is all stock minus a new radio, but everything works except the odometer...no surprise there. The dash has a couple of cracks, the radio surround has a small crack on it and the driver side bolster is ripped, like that when I got it. Other then that, the interior is in damn near perfect shape. I'll get some shots of it soon! I eventually want to get the seats re-wrapped in something else other then leather. I hate leather with a passion.

Ah ok. Well, like I sad...the lip is gone now and the new valence is en route. That will clean it up a bit. I'm probably getting the smoked signal lenses as well. The eyebrows I like. Might look into some clear fogs and just do some 3k bulbs so they still light up yellow, I like that look.

You should paint the rocker panels body color. The middle of the car looks like it's missing something. Will visually lower the car too. Otherwise, I dig it.

I was thinking about it actually now that the Mtech is gonna be on the front. I didn't mind them being black when it matched the front lip.

Who knows, may end up getting MTech sides too, lol

"lose" your plates. replace with the new black/white ones. they look pimp (cleaner). nice car, shoulda just plastidipped black over the checkers, hey it works. oh and get you some nice smoked crosshair euro smilies for 200 dolla~ new from dtm fiberwerkz.

Lol, my registration was due back in September...I told them I lost one and got the new ones already. Def way better then those damn rainbow plates.

Headlights come after the MTech front is painted.
