New shift knob day

I had this derlin cylinder knob custom made for my mk2 gti that I had a while ago, and fell in love with it. I dont know why but it feels better than any shifter I've ever put in my hands. Plus its closer to the wheel which is a good thing (slowly making it track ready). I just welded m12 threads to the end of the knob, its completely reversible in 5 minutes if I want to go back.

Haha. It does feel good. Got an AKG selector rod to go with it. Shortest throws known to man lol. I was in my car making vrooming noises the other day and I had a smile pasted on my face.
