Found this from a local guy I have gotten e30's from before. He owns a small euro repair shop and dealership and calls me whenever he finds an e30.

Sorry for the lack of updates guys. I had a buddy run the vin and it says nothing about the kit. Im thinking it was added after the car was sold new.
I found that the car had both rear quarters replaced and the hood and one fender was R dot. I knew the hood and fenders had been replaced but it was depressing to find the previous damage to the rear. My guess is it got rear ended and pushed into a car in front of it. When this was repaired it may have been when they installed the MT2 kit. I will post the vin up if anyone wants to help with researching it a bit.
I have thought of a few different ideas with what to do with the car. I have an extra s52 swap i had planned to use in my car before sourcing a modified s52 that i used instead. I have thought about restoring this car and using my stock low mileage s52. I also thought about just fixing its current issues and selling it as is, or maybe removing the kit from it and keeping it for myself and selling the car at that point or parting it... its a tough decision.
Honestly I would really enjoy building this car and offering it to the community I just don't know if someone in the market for a higher end e30 would even consider something with previous damage. I can say the car drives straight and the repairs are done correctly, my buddy who used to work at manheim auto auction in arbitration found the damage I had missed when he pulled back the trunk linings, without digging deep its nearly impossible to notice.
What would you guys do with this car?Dave @ Bimmerbuddies
