They will find comparables, based on your geographical location. They will then take the average price of e30s in your area, then adjust the value based on the condition of yours.

As previously stated, see a doctor. I was rear ended years ago, felt fine so I didn't pursue anything. 6 months later I developed neck pain and been living with it ever since...No E30 ClubOriginally posted by MrBurgundyAnyways, mustangs are gay and mini vans are faster than your car, you just have to deal with that.

dude sorry to hear your shitty luck as of late is... shitty.
I got rear ended about 3 months ago by a drunk lady and she was almost completely stopped so maybe 5mph? I had a subluxation, on two of my ligaments. Make sure you get treated PRONTO! The more you wait the harder it will be to repair the damage. Good luck!YOUTUBE: AR Perez

Do not hire an attorney. They will delay the process for months and you'll end up with a lot less than arguing with the insurance yourself or less than what the car is worth. Send them a letter and copies of all expenses of your check ups and such, and in the letter make sure to ask for future medical expense and pain and suffering. Also note loss wages and any other expenses in result to the accident. All in all you should be offered a settlement of three times what that car is worth for hospital bills and pain and suffering.
If they play hard ball or dick around with you too much, then mention that you'd be interested in appointing your attorney for this case.
Insurance companies are pure evil and they get to oush you around however they want.

Got a quote today from the insurance company. $4,352, which is more than I was expecting. Looks like that work I put in to proving it was a rare car and that it was worth money, paid off. Was able to provide them with official production numbers of the ix from BMW north America (3,592 total) and NADA pricing. Honestly I was hoping to get at least 4k.
Thanks for.the condolances, she will be sorely missed. The insurance company is handing it off to a salvage company that will be parting the vehicle out, so be on the lookout for parts! I believe the name of the company is Copart. At least she will live on in other ix's!

As far as my injuries go, I am seeing a clinic that specializes in spinal and neck injuries. Ct scans and xrays have already been done, and they say that there should be no permanent damage, but I will have to do about 2 months of physical therapy to correct the misaligned vertebrae and prevent that from causing permanent issues. I am almost sure I will have to get an attorney for my medical, since his coverage is only for 50k for medical. Almost sure I will exceed that. Plus I would love to have some settlement money left over to finish the e39, and possibly build my m62 I have...
Next car I buy will.probably not be an e30, but don't count me out for i will be back!
Most likely going to buy a Merkur Xr4ti from a friend who builds em, or another 2.5 dodge turbo van. Thenext e30 I buy will be receiving said m62 motor and will be sick but probably not a dd

Don't settle for anything you aren't satisfied with. If you want 4k, don't accept anything lower. Tell them the amount of money invested and how much work was put into the car, provide any documentation, whatever. As far as injuries go, you will be compensated very well as long as you play your cards right. Personal injuries severity can really only be determined by you. The other insurance company will call you and ask how you're feeling, just say you feel like complete shit and are still in pain. Never let your guard down around them, they will use that against you when negotiation time comes around. Rack up the medical bills for whatever care you need and when you are finally back to 100%, then and only then tell them you are ready to settle. This will be months down the road. You should be getting a huge personal compensation for those kinds of injuries.
EDIT: shit lol I didn't notice you already got a estimate, that's really good!

And as stated above, attorneys are rip-offs. They just take a third of your payout just for doing something you can do on your own.
