They have right around 1500 miles on the rims and rubber. They are perfect, no scratches or blemishes.

I'm in Plymouth BTW, have you joined Northstar yet?

meh I almost bought the m parallels but think they're just too common on bmws, especially e34 M5's. I havent joined yet but I think I will soon. Do you guys ever go to brainard or have auto-x days or something?

Yeah when I purchased the car it had chrome (bling bling) E36 M3 wheels on which werent even the correct offset.. I almost got t-stars or the m parallels but the real deal of either was a lot more than I wanted to spend. And I figured if I was getting heavy replica wheels or something different, why not make the car a bit more unique. I do like the turbine or t-star wheels with the covers taken off though..(looks racey)

(in case any of you didnt know those throwing stars were only covers)

I lost the link to it, but some company sold refurbished throwing star covers and the wheels for like 1500.

Yes sir, a lot of US spec M5s came with the "turbine covers." Set your faces to stun:

Now before you really rip em apart, bmw claimed they aided in brake cooling, and the cover acted like a fan. My guess would be it wasnt that affective or obviously people were disgusted by it, because you dont see performance cars with them now a days... Either way an E34 M5 with those wheels covers (and the tires pictured) clearly defines sleeper

you guys think an S14 is temperamental and overpriced? Wrong, there is an engine worse. ........ and for the w1n its the S38/M88. Still a tits, raw, race-inspired engine nonetheless. Just the way I like it.

I love it and I also think the rims look fantastic. Here's mine with Breyton Softlines on it. I want to get rid of the Breytons and will be putting on a set of Simmons OM's with black centres and polished lip. 17 x 9 rear and 17 x 8.5 front. I also like the shadowline look and will look at doing that when I get the car re-sprayed later in the year.

                  cheers

Nope, pay up. Real deal is where it's at...one of the lightest/strongest wheels BMW's ever produced, supposedly.

I agree changing the wheels would make it more classic but damn it looks good as is

Ive been looking into buying the original wheels. They look so good with the covers taken off. Pretty sweet with throwing stars as well. And if you really want to make sure nobody knows your driving a fast car, the turbines will put most people to sleep
