Don't get a cold air intake unless it's a reputable vendor and even then stock m20 intakes are not bad. There are better things to spend money on in the beginning. Check if it has an LSD, if so you're most of the way to an IS (also need skirts and other little things). You have convertible seats which are nice, they're the same as sport's seats except for the stitching. As far as handling, read up into suspension because adjusting your camber may not be the best thing to do alone (it's beneficial when combined with other things, but if you're on stock blown dampers it's not going to get you anywhere). Car looks nice. Word of advice about your intake. Someone's signature on here says "So you're gonna replace that intake made by engineers who get paid thousands a year to make everything as efficient as possible for something out of Pep Boy's?", or something along those lines. As agent said, preventive maintenance will get you a long way.

That's a great first car. Congrats! If the car is an '88, someone swapped it out for the more desirable, '89+ plastic bumpers. The car also has an iS front lip and rear euro plate filler.

Spend some time detailing her & cleaning it up. Does it have any rust?

It started to get rust on the frame but the guy worked in a auto body shop and he cleaned it up and put stuff on it so I doesn't rust anymore. So it's pretty clean

Thanks for the input, the previous owner did a bunch of stuff with the suspension. He said a month ago He replaced both control arms, outer tie rods, center support bearing
And put Bav auto springs with bilstein sports in it to help with the suspension

great first car, did the same for my daughter, good solid starter..detailing goes a long way and simple green in the engine bay will do wonders. Good luck and enjoy

Indeed a great start. My E30 is my first car too. Best first car ever, however now that you have an E30 you'll never want a different car. I'm in that situation right now and couldn't be happier! Beautiful car. You are going to have fun.

I love it, I learned how to drive stick in a half hour in it. My dads jealous of it and now he wants one.:razz:
