New to the Board, just got my 318is (56k beware)

I've been searching for a nice e30 since I blew the engine in my 92 Integra...I had to drive about 3 1/2 hours to get this one, but so far I'm very satisfied with it. I've only gotten a chance to drive it for one day due to the snow, but I hope to get my driveway shoveled and take it out for some snow driving. [/img]

Thanks, and yeah, brilliantrot red. original paint, newly clear coated IS rear lip. 107000 miles, brand new muffler, 4900 even, all the belts and hoses just replaced, new tires, all the regular maintenance. It has records in the service manual since april of 92 when the first and only owner bought the car and regularly performed maintenance records from then until now. Only two miniscule chips in the paint on the entire car. no scratches or fading anywhere. Tan interior, black dash, manual sunroof, power locks, power windows, and everything works

Impressive! I only got a few things to say.

          1. Get rid of the pinstripe. Does wonders and makes the paint look even better.
          2. Get some stickers for the BBS wheels.
          3. Don't make the same mistake I did and waste all my money on exterior parts.
          4. LOWER IT! 8) Look into Ireland Engineering and Ground Control. This should be #1 on your "to do" list.

Good luck to you and your 318is! Hopefully you've got plans already.

Unfortunately, mods are going to have to wait for awhile. Since the death of my integra was unexpected, i wasn't exactly prepared to buy another car. Because of this, i had to take out a loan. I have plenty of time to pay it back, so minor mods are no problem, but anythink other than minor will have to wait until the loan is paid off.

Yeah, i'm still trying to decide about the pinstripe, i like it, but at the same time, i agree, it would make the paint look better overall.

there's no problem with that......forum members are the shit are "free" mods or cheap mods.

Blackening out kidney grill, spraying tails all-red, and the like....... 8)

Nice ride, 318is, and 325is are nice cars enough from the factory, you should really enjoy it.
Ha 3 1/2 hour, nice devotion. 4 hours here.

Car looks really straight and clean. Looks like you found a good stock base to work from. Reminds me of my car when I first got it except yours looks to be in better shape than mine. You definately won't regret getting it.

I think 5 or 6 in NC on this forum alone . There is an unusual amount of 318is' in NC for some reason, and to think I thought I had a rare car when I got mine.

Yeah, I've seen/ridden in the car in person, and it is top notch for any e30 I've ever been in that's completely untouched. Apparently it was a one owner car, some lady who had it serviced by the same dealership every 3k miles. Niceness :) Makes me want to go hug mine.

Although I may be wrong. I think just US ones got sealed beams. Someone correct me if necessary!
