    My 1981 320i

I traded my Miata for an '81 320i this weekend. Pretty good condition, just needs more power! It has 2002 interior and Bride bucket seats as well.
There are a few problems with it right now, nothing major. The trunk leaks, always a puddle in the carpet, and today I realized the glove box leaks.
The steering wheel shakes a little when you brake at high speeds. Last thing is, sometimes the key wont engage the engine, it usually works when I leave it in neutral and don't engage the clutch.

Get new headers and get custom straight pipe exhaust.
Plasti-Dip wheels black and all trim.
        Tinted windows.
        Possibly Euro headlight conversion

Also, just got Collectors plates today!

Do some research on the e21's "55mph shimmy". Looks like a good start, any interior pics?

                  looks nice!

but im 90% certain those brides are knockoffs..
imho, if you got rid of the peanut sized steering wheel and the wink mirror it'd be 100x better than it is now.

They are knockoffs unfortunately, but I'm getting the stock steering wheel from PO soon, and I personally like the wink mirror.

No, couldn't see myself putting a Honda motor in a BMW.

Don't get it twisted, Honda makes a great engine. Would I want to drive a Honda chassis? Probably not (not even the s2000, I don't like it's electronic steering box).

                              Just playing devil's advocate here.
Keep in mind that it's a Honda motor has 123.5 hp/liter from the factory. I don't think BMW has anything in production making close to that.

                              Anyway, good luck.
