I actually feel sorry for that poor E30. This is the result of upgrading everything with absolutely no taste.

On the other hand, the creator of this monstrosity probably loves it dearly. Let's be honest: That's what really counts. To each his own.

I agree with Danny. Unlit it is definitely good looking. Neons get a bad wrap however. Probably for good reason.
