    My new 1990 325is!

The time has finally come! After a long and tiring weekend of traveling up to CT last Friday(2/1/13) to purchase a car that I found on these boards. I ended up purchasing another one way ticket back to Florida because the car didn't turn out to be what the owner described it as. Oh well, it was a great learning experience and I got to see some friends! I got home on Sunday and the very next day, I find a Schwarz on gray, 5 speed coupe with ~95k miles! Some things to do here and there but overall a solid car! I'm so happy!

Here is my first picture of her at the previous owners house, followed by two more pics when I got back to my apartment complex. Sorry for the crappy photos. My only camera is an iPhone 5.

    Folder of maint. records!

Couple things I've noticed when initially checking out the car:
    -brake lining light
    -oil light on check board
    -inspection light
-speedo and odo are not working (owner said it stopped ~ two months ago)

I can't stop looking at her from my window! I'm such a guy....

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I'll get some interior shots up ASAP. The dash has zero cracks and its in great condition. The carpet has minor stains in a couple spots but nothing major. The seats are the worst part of the car. It looks like the Florida heat really beat them up. However, the previous owner purchased a set of seat covers that were specifically made for the sport seats. They really do fit well and they're not that bad looking at all. I'll most likely purchase a set of newer sport seats sometime in the future. My plans are to get a full polish and wax detail and I'll get a paintless dent removal person out and get some of these little dime dents out here and there and the common dent on the hood where someone pushed too hard trying to get the hood to close. The body is in really really good condition. I honestly went to go look at the car and after 30 minutes of inspecting every panel I was ready to buy it right then and there (which I did). The car even came with the og telephone and the box communicator thingy in the trunk. As well as the is lip he took off and put in the trunk because he didn't want it to fly away or break off. Ill look into that soon. The car literally has zero rust. I stomped on the floor boards rather hard and they didn't move or make any abnormal noise at all. The leather/airbag steering wheel is driving me nuts because of how ugly it is, so that will be taken care of in the near future. Im going to purchase a set of kw v1's and or an shock and spring combo. I dont want to lower the car that much because i dont want the car to have a terrible ride, but i do want to purchase a set of oem+ looking wheels and get rid of some of this excess wheel gap. :) I also want to put in some euro headlights (smilies) and hi beam housings as well. If anyone has any recommendations please let me know! Other than that, the motor runs strong. He recently had the valves adjusted so it sounds like a well maintained sewing machine. He said he changed the t-belt a couple months ago, but for reassurance I'm going to purchase a belt here within the next week. I also want to get a water pump, tensioner and other "while I'm in there" accessories. If anyone has any tips, please share. I want to get some new brakes too. Mine feel really soft. I push the pedal and its like I'm not pushing it at all. Hmmm...can't think of anything else ATM. What oil grade should I use for this Florida heat all year round? The owner said he didn't put synthetic in. Should I switch to synthetic?

                  Longest post, ever.

The is lip is in the trunk. I talked about it in my previous post. :)

I paid $4000 for it. I figure for the condition it's in, the time I would continue spending to look for one. It was a no brainer.
