    My 1985 325e [Picture Heavy]

So, after about three to four months of owning this car I am finally now just getting around to posting this. I've been putting it off a lot but I feel the time is right. I've racked upwards of 150 pictures working on this car but I will try to keep it simple so I don't explode this thread.

This is how the car stands today.

This is day after buying the car, cleaned up nice had old rock hard sap ALL OVER! Little nail polish remover cleared them right up though.

Did a bunch of basic maintenance, basically made love to it for a weekend with a claybar.

After the clean up, got around to getting some smileys, euro grills, valence and brake ducts and plastic bumper. Wired everything up, city lights, highs, fogs. Use your imagination here though I lost alot of pictures to a phone swap.

Bought this while I was waiting for bumper to arrive (I'm noticing all the part out cars are zinno..)

    Trimmed it up.

I call these flaming bird poop welds.

Got a bit crazy with seam sealer.

    Getting around to the bumper.

    Painting time!

Masked off the chrome, did all the trim

Homemade euro trim because I can

    Flying home made euro trim

    IS Lip

Letting things dry, have a little fun with seafoam.

Booty all done, not the best picture though.

Now for some small things added to the car recently.

    New shiny coolant res.

New alt bushings to replace the melted ones.

    Some things without pictures:
    New shift boot
    New shift nob
    New radiator
    Replaced timing belt, t-stat, wp
New billy shocks, and IE springs.
    Trunk/Tail light gaskets

Ill try to be keeping this updated for now on, just had to catch up on all the things I've done. I think next up is interior!

Do it! Just be sure to get rid of the undercoating on the back side but be sure to replace it! Had minor fires when welding. If you need to ask questions feel free man!

Thanks! The first owner had it detailed and maintained for the first 10 years and it lived in a garage. I got really lucky, It does come with some rust spots around the edges. None the less I lucked out!

So I've been researching to find a place that wont charge an arm and a leg to reupholster my seats to cardinal. I might just end up finding a junker seat to practice on with some material and do it myself.

Anyone know of a good place to look for car seat grade materials? Leather or Vinyl?

                              Baller.

I'm going to get underneath mine and do a more thorough inspection just so I know how much exactly I need to cut out. I'm afraid it's going to be a lot.
