    Glad I found this forum!

I bought an '89 325i with an M20B25, manual, 4 dr in the early fall and I've been bringing it back to life. It was cheap but it was really beaten. But it had 4 drs, a manual, the m20 and little to no rust which were my main wants. And it was dirt cheap for a decent runner. The paint is pretty brutal- it looks like it was clear coated at some point and not that's coming off. The really rough look of it is really starting to grow on me. I drove an old 94 525i for almost 400k miles and this car has a lot of that same DNA (only better).

I'm building it into my bad nieghborhood+ inclement weather +daily and long distance driver and sometimes track day car. I have another car that's my nice weather and track day car.

So glad I found this forum. I was avidly reading another forum with not much luck but a wiring diagram search took me here. It seems like this is the place to have better discussions about wrenching.

Next up is the clutch as it's slipping a bit. Then I'm going to do the R134a conversion since the AC doesn't work and I'm not going to fix an R12 system.

Below is what I've done so far. Much of it was done for reliability and as the result of non-start condition I was chasing when the car was parked 8 hrs away (I just bought all the parts I thought could've failed and brought them with).

Looking forward to continue to learn about this car.

Thanks- I like the price of the Rotas best. Not much selection in 4x100 15x7 that aren't bbs or slim spoke style.

The radio is from eBay but I'm not sure what model. I think it's the first version of the BMW "business radio" made by blaupunkt.

That reminds me- for the people who have these "business cd" radios- how are they holding them in place? Mine has a business card holding it in place. Is there some kind of a mount available to mate with the newer style side latches?

Question number 2. The Bavarian auto Sachs clutch seems like a good deal.
Does that seem adequate for daily spirited driving and some track days?

            Thanks
