Beautiful car! You have excellent taste sir. My only complaint is the kidneys and the stickers.

Did you do the swap yourself? Very clean!

That is a clean engine bay. Is there a reason for blocking off the headlights so air can't get to the filter or just clean bay looks?

I completed the swap in my garage over a period of about a year. The filter on stick was used just to clean up the bay...not really for power. I'm debating about going to the factory intake setup with a modified snorkel of some kind.

The stickers were on the car since the shoot was for a magazine feature. (I'm not a huge fan of stickers either ;) )

Factory kidneys would just look wierd on the car. There is no chrome trim of any kind on an M3 other than those. That just doesn't seem to flow well.

The wheels are HRE 506. They are the only set I've ever seen. I've actually sold them to a local with an E28. I'm building a new set of vintage HREs. Should have them in a couple months.

I see chrome rims, chrome exhaust tips and chrome state of mind. The front is only angle missing chrome... and the only place the M3 originally had any!

Can you give the details on your muffler? Is it 3" in, dual 3" out?

                          Man

Functioning A/C? Just curious as to how far you went on the swap.

Damn that car should be in some museum. Congrats.

No functioning AC yet. Just need to put the lines on. The two that connect to the compressor are custom lines made by combining the E30 and E46 lines. This is a pic of the other side of the motor.

Thanks for all the kind words.
