mine are just tucked to give me an extra foot of room in the garage, lol....I only have 2 feet to spare in front of the workbench and every inch counts. How they look....meh, stock looks fine, tucked looks fine. I didn't buy this car to win any car shows.

I didn't push mine all the way in to the abys, just leveled them to the length of an early style vert.

Another pic from summer 2011. Euro plate missing because a deer slid out and fell infront of me and I pushed/rolled it down the road at ~30mph for a few feet till I stopped. Bent/knocked the plate out night before.

I have a filler blank in there now.

my 86 325es ! diving boards !

have had it for 2 weeks, just put some ESM 15" on... may put Bilstein kit on it. But it drives so nice .. 147, 000 miles ( 100 mile in about 7 years stored inside)
