First Bmw E30 325is Black!

hey guys iv been lurking around this forum for a while now and finally found a car so thought id introduce myself , names Rifahie from Calgary Alberta
found this forum while looking around at peoples builds which inspired me to want an e30 even more! , iv been into E30s since i was young guy i new stored his clean 325is in my garage for about 2 years id start it play around with it sounded amazing ! m20 <3 , i finally came across a E30 in my area i went and had to see it and grab it , 1988 BMW 325is black needs some TLC, has rust holes will be fixed soon and a huge dent also will be fixed soon , but the thing that caught my attention was the rebuilt 2.7l Stroker!!! and 9 grand in things don't to the engine and suspension .. guy did nothing to the body or inside expect a aftermarket wheel ,




I'm also re-gasketing a m20b25 which needs a new cylinder head due to bad welding skills , or corrosion and the camshaft has mad grooves on it , just waiting on the gasket set i ordered from blunttech has some amazing parts for cheap! ,

then valve cover was leaking had to fix that what cought my eyes was in the inside it was so clean! and the guy that owned this didnt know how to change his oil so im guessing he had people do the work for him shops and all ,

body work starts tom hopefully will be done by next week so no more rust

okay been busy with this car i got some pics of how bad the damage was , and i will have some new pics tom , i just finished repairing half of these problems with a friend of my dads that helped with body work , next im going to be replaceing the water pump and thermostat due to an overheating problem , also getting repainted then polished, and a few interior repairs need to be done.. i no longer have a glove box it wouldnt open sooo i broke it open , i have koni shock system not bad for now ,































now with all that being showed the products above were used , and im almost done with all the rust etc , got new metal installed rust cut out and accually almost done ill try and get some pics of it tonight i forgot all about it but probably well , and some more touch up and rust repairs tom my dads friends coming while im in school to finish up , then getting primered and painted ,

well here is the progress so far , new metal installed and bondo applied also pulled that dent out and put bondo for any hidden dents i couldnt see , also got my lower gasket kit from blunttech ,

I would have ran, but you are in Canada, and nice e30s are hard to come by. That interior looks mint; can't wait to see how the body turns out. One of my favorite late model e30 colors too

well i looked all over the place here.. nothing was good and i wanted a 325is coupe black , so i finally found one for the rust.. wasnt that bad of a fix , i have seen worse than this .. a few things to fix up and im good , plus im glad theres a stroker motor in this one :p ,and will keep every one updated more body work tom , when im off school

okay bit stuck here in your input on this , just finally finished the body work and got the car all cleaned up and re painted black , were i showed in the pics... but then i took out my battery and the tray and found more, the thing is all rusted to shit , so IM thinking ? just make a new square battery box and weld it on should work, plus i wanted to hear your inputs on what i should do , there is still metal tho that is good i can basically cut all the rust off and weld pieces aswell thanks!





















going to polish the car in about a week or soo so i can let the paint sit for a bit ,

Thats not a stroker in there... Also with all the rust. Looks like it was fiberglassed over then puddy applied. Was nothing cut out and new metal put in?

honestly i got a guy to do it , what he did was cut out the rusted metal and then put bondo and fiberglass i didnt get pics of when he was doing it soo , and why do u say its not a stroker? im getting paper work for it this week and the guy i got it from has a shit load of e30s so i would trust him as he is a known bmw enthusiast, car is from Quebec after talking to a dealer , nope calgary . engine dose look like shit tho idk wth this guy did .. was not taken care of
