And another crappy pic of the crappy touring

Slowly moving along. Today's junkyard run netted a mtech I front valance that will soon be traded to mikeedler for many many german goodies. Today got the borbets swapped from the grey car to this one. The fenders and front valance were a no go since Mike wants the mtech I. So that waits for another day. Smoked headlights are in. Painted some tails today and I should have em in tomorrow. New shocks for the rear door. Maybe swap in sport seats tomorrow? Dunno.... we'll see..... Only got one pic before the camera's batteries took a shit. And here it is:

You know how some mail carriers use their own cars? I want to get a white RHD touring, have it painted with a USPS paint scheme, and deliver mail in it.

HA! THAT would be sweet. Til you needed parts for the car you'd undoubtedly put 300,000 miles on every year.

Tourings are such elegant BMW's. I hope you restore this one tastefully.

I don't plan on doing much restoration to it. Its never going to see track time other than maybe the strip. So no need to do anything motor wise til this one blows up. I've pretty much sourced an m50 if I decide I want to put it in...... I don't know yet. We'll see. The car is touch and go at the moment. If it pisses me off its gonna feel my wrath.... we'll see.

Ummm..... there are 2 in the junkyard and tons for sale everywhere. I can find you one no problem. But you have to find the shipper and the paperwork...... and most importantly.... the money.

Oh. Thought you meant a touring. *LOL*

Mtech I valance and subsequently bumper since I'm not going to take them apart, and sideskirts would run you about 500 for parts and another 300 or so for shipping. Then once it gets there, there's customs and shit. My last 3 kits got "raided" (not sure what that means but the buyer had to pay 700 bux to get them from port) and there was a huge problem with boxes being opened and rifled through. If you are serious and have the $$$$ I can make it happen.

Eh, M20 parts are plentiful. The great thing would be that I could do all my own work on it, wouldn't have to worry about a mechanic.

Suspension is worse to find that cabby stuff. Plus the rear door likes to rust out. Interior.... forget it.... Although I am working on gettin a dual headrest rear seat along with the cargo net built into the cargo cover roller. :D
