Couple updates tonight and I will have a lot more this week.
First up I went to pull a part and picked up some trim pieces and door latches. Then went to a part out car and got a shift knob, shifter boot, and window sealer/trim whatever you call it.
Anyways, here are a few pics, nothing special I just like to track what I've done.
Finally got around to installing the new windshield. Taking it out was easy, putting it back in...not so much. Random pic without a windshield.
Then got the door latches installed. I still need the trim piece to go around it but it's better than what I had before which was no handles at all.
And here is how the garage currently sits with both my cars undrivable.
Tomorrow I'll finish installing the weather strip/trim around the front and rear windshields. So far it's been a PITA but oh well almost done.
I painted the grill black with satin black krylon fusion and used some back to black on the trim. I'm probably just going to paint the trim with the krylon as well.
Then I bought some good stuff. Got a good deal on a set of JOM coilovers from somebody on here so I decided to give them a shot. I put them on tonight but sorry I don't have pics during the install, I was too excited to stop and take pictures.
I also bought a front air dam. It has some cracks in it but an easy fix. I can't decide whether I am going to paint it black or get some bahama beige paint and match it to the body. All depends on money.
I degreased the engine bay and undercarriage and needless to say it was filthy. Turned out alot better that I expected and I can actually see all the parts on the car and even
the different colors.
I also took my first drive with the new suspension. I know a lot of
People on here hate JOM but for DD they ride really smooth. Of course they are soft so they will suck at a track but for what I need for now they are fine.
