Well, I finished my 2.5 swap over christmas break. Couldn't be happier really, so i figured I'd post a few pic's of the car. Not really crazy about how they came out, (car could use a bath). Plastic bumper swap to come as soon as the weather gets nice or mtech1 if a nice chunk of change falls into my lap.

Just for clarification, swap was m20b27 -> m20b25. Relitively easy swap, and i've very pleased with the result. Just need to get a chip and nice exhaust for it now (markD and stromung) . Ideally i would have liked to do the s50 shop but time and money became limiting factors. Maybe some day after college.

A bumper tuck was on my list of things to do before I had to get back to school, but I ran out of time. I'm considering painting the bumpers black before I tuck them... who's done this? and did you have any problem with the paint sticking to the aluminum?

Now that its running well I'll be able to focus more on the appearance. I've got a set of elipsoids but one of them is going to need a new lens. I still have a long road ahead of me, but its good to make progress.

Anyone have a pic of an mtech1 with alpina's (kopi or original)? I need some motivation if i'm gonna drop the money on it.
