    Finally found me a clean E30 - '88 Bronzit 325is

Just thought I would post up my new to me E30. I have owned an X5, E46 M3 convertible, and an E90 335i. I've always wanted an E30 and have been waiting to find one thats decently clean and close to retrieve.

Picked up this pretty clean bronzit 325is with black interior. Has quite a bit of miles on it, but the old man I bought it from had service records from 1997 (when he bought it) and it runs great. Has a 5 spd, map light mirror, working AC, cruise, and power windows. Bronzit wasnt my first choice in color, but finding something local to me outweighed the color. Hoping to get some mods soon, mainly lowering it and maybe putting some 16's on. After that, it'll just be my DD back and forth to work.

    Thanks for looking!

Looks good! I got the same year, model and color as you. Wish mine came with black interior.

            Thanks guys.

One quick question.. The PO replaced the front lip because he damaged the original one. Did the '88 IS come with the larger lip?

Yes it would have, just look up an IS front lip for a late model car

Yes, you have an 'i' lip, the larger one is actually called the 'is' lip...guess what model it came on, ha. I personally prefer the 'i' lip on some cars, I have one on mine.

Thanks for the replies guys! I'm going to hold off on putting the IS lip back on until I lower it and see how much clearance I have. Not going to dump it, just get a better stance to enhance the looks/performance a bit.

My all time favorite year of E30's!!!!
It's th perfect mx between updated front and rear valances/lights mixed with old school diving boards. if any car deserves an eS front valance it's this one.

                    Looks great

awesome at least its an late model 88 and has the late model valances, a plastic bumper swap is easy and you just need the late model turn signal connectors

The early eS and iS air dams don't fit on the later (88+) models with the updated valences. The metal bumpers don't have anything to do with it.

Looks really clean. I love bronzit, they look really good with black plastic bumpers and black wheels, imo.
